In
recent years, Ian's skills as a conductor of large
scale performances have led to organising and
conducting large concerts involving many choirs,
sponsored by organisations such as the
Milton Keynes
City
Church
, the Bedford Hospital Trust, the
Voices for Hospices charity and the Open University.
Notable among these were two anniversary
performances of Britten's War Requiem in 1994, one in
Middleton Hall,
Milton Keynes
and the other in the Birmingham
Symphony Hall.
Ian brings a tremendous energy and enthusiasm to
the choir, together with a strong commitment, whilst
drawing on the abilities of every choir member.
With over twenty years of professional
experience, his reputation for expressive, high
standard rehearsal and performances attracts musicians
and audiences alike.
The sheer sense of fun that he communicates
ensures we return again and again.
